Every few years I build myself a desktop. These are the components I’ve chosen for my current PC built in 2016 based on Intel’s Skylake architecture and Z170 chipset. The system is mostly free of legacy I/O ports such as PS/2 and VGA. Some cool features are the full body tempered glass window on the case with RGB lighting, 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port, super fast NVMe storage, GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, 802.11ac MIMO wireless and Oculus Rift VR kit. Also obvious is the white and black color scheme built around the uniquely beautiful Asus Sabertooth S170 S motherboard that sports a distinct arctic camouflage design, packed with 32 GB of matching Crucial Ballistix Sport LT memory.
